EU launches public consultation on trans-European energy infrastructure review

The Commission Commission launched on May 18 a public consultation on the review of the EU rules on trans-European energy infrastructure.

EU Energy Commissioner Kadri Simson highlighted the importance of modern, resilient, secure energy infrastructure, which is able to accommodate a much greater share of renewables, in making Europe a climate neutral continent by 2050.
