European Parliament greenlights 2021-2027 EU budget

With an overwhelming majority of 548 votes in favour, 81 against and 66 abstentions, Europe’s lawmakers approved on Wednesday the bloc’s budget for the next seven years, paving the way for the member states’ recovery from the Coronavirus pandemic.
