GE Steam Power has started turbine-generator manufacturing for Finland’s Hanhikivi-1 nuclear power plant with generator rotor forging at the Japan Steel Works facilities in Muroran, Japan, Russia’s state atomic corporation Rosatom said on 14 October.
This marks the start of major equipment components manufacturing for Hanhikivi-1 NPP, Finland.
