Earlier this month the United Arab Emirates (UAE) ordered the withdrawal of all Italian aircraft and personnel from its Al Minhad Air Force Base located on the outskirts of Dubai. The reasons given for the eviction notice is the displeasure at Italy’s decision to halt arms sales to the UAE.
