COP26: call for more global climate action

On November 24, Members of the European Parliament debated with Commission Executive Vice-President Frans Timmermans, and the Council Presidency, the Glasgow Climate Pact agreed at the 2021 UN Climate Change Conference (COP26).

Many MEPs described COP26 as an important step, while stressing for the urgency of more global climate action to limit warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius, the European Parliament said in press release.
