43% of tech teams scale their technology with managed service providers to support hybrid work environments

>

Sydney (ots/PRNewswire) – * Shift in tech team priorities leads to more
jobs for managed service providers.

* Issues with video, voice and headsets are problems faced by
employees in a hybrid work environment.

IR (ASX:IRI), a global leader in performance management and analytics for unified communications and collaboration, IT infrastructure and payment ecosystems, announced the results of a market research study for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) conducted in partnership with Ecosystm, a digital research and consulting platform.

The Ecosystm Digital Enterprise Study, which surveyed 1,323 companies, found that CIOs and tech teams are experiencing a shift in their roles. They are now also tasked with delivering business and customer outcomes.

Fifty-two percent of the companies surveyed are focused on infrastructure modernization. In the face of these changing demands, tech teams are engaging MSPs to help them achieve their business goals. While 43% are scaling existing technology, 36% are deploying new technology.

“Employees have expressed concern about computer reboots when switching platforms, delays in voice calls, and wait times for video broadcasts. There are also issues in conference rooms and with the use of headsets. MSPs are seeing an increase in customers addressing these issues across devices, rooms, offices, networks and applications. Therefore, it is critical for any MSP to continually innovate and provide best-in-class services,” explained John Ruthven, CEO and Managing Director, IR.

“MSPs face the greatest challenges in managing a multi-vendor environment, providing customers with a single point of management and visibility, and ensuring that service level agreements are effectively met,” added Audrey William, Principal Advisor, Ecosystm.

Ruthven added, “At IR, we help MSPs proactively troubleshoot increasingly complex hybrid workspaces. Our traffic light system dashboards provide a detailed overview. Our proactive alerts and analytics ensure employees have an optimal experience on-site and off-site.”

Jonathan Beaver, Infrastructure Engineer at New Era Technology, an MSP that provides accessible technology solutions, commented, “Through our ongoing partnership with IR, we have been able to provide the highest level of support to our customers. This includes such things as customized alerts that enable our Network Operations Center to proactively identify and resolve issues in customer environments, as well as customized dashboards that provide holistic and insightful views.”

The IR Collaborate suite offers MSPs the ability to add value to their offerings to ensure business growth.
