ENGINE in the U.S., Europe and Australia rebrands as Big Village to pioneer the future of global advertising, technology and data

>

New York (ots/PRNewswire) – Under new corporate entity, Big Village brings together adtech, media, insights and creative under one roof to solve the industry’s biggest problems and drive advertising forward with an eye toward a new era

ENGINE, a global advertising, technology and data company, announced its new brand name Big Village (www.big-village.com) in the U.S., Europe and Australia on June 17. The company’s mission is to move away from the insular thinking of the past and serve as a model in the industry for what it means to be an integrated solutions company. Under its new name, Big Village operates as a global advertising, technology and data company that brings together its full range of capabilities, including ad tech, media, insights and creative experts, under one roof to effectively solve some of the industry’s biggest challenges and advance advertising and marketing.

Led by Kasha Cacy as Global CEO, Big Village has 450 employees worldwide and counting. We pride ourselves on being a team that brings together diverse perspectives that are interwoven throughout the team’s process to unlock unexpected opportunities for clients.

Big Village brands and services include:

* EMX by Big Village: built on advertising technology, the company’s leading end-to-end programmatic technology group, EMX is a leading SSP, data platform and media trading desk;

* Cassandra by Big Village: A collection of research
on Millennials, Gen Z and Gen Alpha, uncovering and analyzing emerging trends, generational insights and youth behavior;

* Media experts trained to break down adtech intelligence by combining consumer mindset insights, audience targeting, media activation and robust measurement to drive media investment;

* A global market research firm that uncovers not only the “what” but also the “why” behind customer behavior, providing better data and insights for better business decisions;

* A modern creative workshop that positions brands to be noticed by their audiences with contextual work across social, digital and traditional channels.

“When we look at what marketing organizations are dealing with today, things have become so complex that campaigns can no longer exist in isolation,” says Kasha Cacy, Global CEO of Big Village. “We’ve made it our mission to take on the challenge and solve the problems that others haven’t been able to solve:
true transparency in the programmatic marketplace, scaling niche audiences that aren’t clearly defined by behavioral data, and deep integration of data and insights into creative and media processes, to name a few examples.”

ENGINE Group UK, owner of ad agency ENGINE Creative, which was acquired by Next 15 earlier this year, is not affected by the rebrand. EMX does, however, have employees working in the United Kingdom.

Big Village is currently working on a number of major initiatives around the world and prides itself on finding unconventional ways to solve big problems for its clients. For example, in its recent work with a well-known tourism company, Big Village encouraged its client to base its marketing strategy not on what it wanted to embody, but who it wanted to target in order to reach new customers in the wake of the pandemic. Over the past two years, and even now, Big Village has helped this client significantly increase tourism.

A great example of Big Village experts working together to solve big problems is the Ad Council’s COVID-19 “It’s Up To You” vaccine education initiative. The Ad Council partnered with Big Village to improve audience quality and better differentiate vaccine refusers from other groups, as well as spread the message through the most effective media channels. Using unique targeting solutions, including Digital Audiences (Insights) and EMX Data Connected Marketplace™, Big Village was able to seamlessly engage and activate audiences across EMX’s entire media offering.

Big Village is also committed to partnering with external technology providers to expand and evolve its offerings. EMX, by Big Village, has partnered with Audigent, the leading data enablement, curation and identity company, to expand the first-party data capabilities of its Data Connected Marketplace™. As the preferred SSP of Audigent’s SmartPMP™ product, EMX provides greater audience lift, targeting, scaling and delivery.
