>

July 22, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. on ORF 2.

Vienna (OTS) – ORF Vorarlberg presenter Martina Köberle talks to Bregenz Festival artistic director Elisabeth Sobotka about the main productions of this year’s summer festival: the Puccini opera “Madame Butterfly” in Andreas Homoki’s production can be seen for the first time on the lake and the rarely performed opera “Siberia” by Umberto Giordano will have its premiere in the house.

Behind the scenes, or rather behind the elaborate stage technology of the play on the lake, invites the technical director of the Bregenz Festival, Wolfgang Urstadt.

An important cooperation partner of the Festival for the opera studio and concerts is the Kunsthaus Bregenz, which celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2022. Kunsthaus director Thomas D. Trummer looks back on the most important exhibitions of recent years. In addition, ORF Vorarlberg shows images of the current exhibition of the American artist Jordan Wolfson and takes a look into the future of the internationally renowned Kunsthaus.

The live broadcast of ORF Vorarlberg “Festspielmagazin 2022” can be seen on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. on ORF 2.
