TÜV AUSTRIA Hellas has awarded the National Bank of Greece (NBG) the first certificate for an accredited compliance system according to ISO 37301 requirements.

Athens, Vienna (OTS) – With ISO 37301 certification, TÜV AUSTRIA Hellas equips organizations with a set of tools to create and maintain a solid and systematic compliance culture – recently including the Bank of Greece.

Panagiotis Dasmanoglou, General Manager for Compliance and Corporate Governance at the NBG, says the ISO 37301 certification reaffirms the bank’s compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices: “We are proud to be the first to receive a certificate under the new ISO 37301 standard for regulatory compliance of organizations by the international certification provider TÜV AUSTRIA.”

TÜV AUSTRIA Hellas, a wholly owned subsidiary of the independent, Austrian TÜV AUSTRIA Group, is the first accredited certification body in Greece and one of the first at the European level to be successfully audited by the Greek (national) accreditation system (ESYD SA), full member of the EA and MLA agreements, and accredited according to the ISO 37301 system standard for compliance management.
