London (ots/PRNewswire) – “Vista of the Green Silk Road” Opening Ceremony in Beijing
The opening ceremony of the “Vista of the Green Silk Road” program was co-hosted by the BRI International Green Development Coalition (BRIGC) and the “Belt and Road’ Media Cooperation Union (MCU) on July 12 in Beijing.
By leveraging the professionalism, resources and promotional channels of BRIGC and MCU at home and abroad, the look at the Green Silk Road aims to tell the story of BRI green development in a style that combines the advantages of professional film, television and media approaches. Through these stories, green development concepts, experiences, practical cases and fruits of cooperation will be shared to show the BRI’s contribution to global ecological civilization development. The 2022 annual theme is “Vista of the Green Silk Road: Driving Green Development with Synergic Reduction of Pollution and Carbon Emissions.” Thematic events and case collections will be held. The program will be broadcast on “USilk”, a television program of MCU, in Silk Road countries during prime time.
BRIGC will serve as a platform for policy dialogue and communication, environmental knowledge and information, and green technology exchange and transfer. Currently, there are more than 150 partners from 43 countries and regions. MCU is initiated by China Intercontinental Communication Center (CICC) in cooperation with international media agencies and aims to promote diversified media cooperation programs between China and international organizations through omni-media, multi-media and media convergence. It now has 105 members from more than 40 countries and regions.
