London (ots/PRNewswire) – The Swarovski Foundation announces the second year of Creatives for Our Future, a global mentorship and fellowship program developed in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Partnerships to identify and nurture the next generation of creative leaders in sustainability.
The Swarovski Foundation Creatives for Our Future will begin with a four-week open call to all creatives worldwide, ages 21 to 30, from the fields of fashion, design, art, architecture, science, technology and engineering – without restriction to a creative medium. Successful applicants must have a strong interest in, demonstrate, or have exemplary potential for using the creative process to accelerate awareness, technologies, or solutions for sustainable development. The Swarovski Foundation is committed to reaching out to a diverse range of applicants from around the world and bringing new voices and perspectives to the creative process.
The selected fellows will receive financial support to advance their projects and develop new directions for a better world. The grant is coupled with an educational program in collaboration with top international institutions, customized mentors and industry networks under the guidance of the Swarovski Foundation. Each participating program grantee, a leader in their field, represents a broad spectrum of creative disciplines from fashion and art to technology and science.
Throughout the program, fellows will receive support to further develop the innovations and practices described in their applications and make progress toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Successful grantees will be invited to New York in September 2022 during the United Nations General Assembly, where they will participate for the first time in a high-level industry networking event to not only announce the second year of the Creatives for our Future program, but also meet their peers.
