Terminations during upright price guarantee illegal

Vienna (OTS) – The Consumer Protection Association (VSV) is launching a collection campaign against the termination of energy supply contracts by the company Grünwelt Energie GmbH.

“Currently, we are receiving complaints from customers of Grünwelt, who are unilaterally terminated by Grünwelt during an upright price guarantee for 24 months. This method pursues the VSV also against MAXenergy and got thereby in first instance also right,” says Peter Kolba, chairman of the VSV. “Who is quit by Grünwelt within the price warranty, can sue with mediation of the VSV risk-free for compensation.”

As reportedly the district court Dornbirn explained these notices during upright price warranty in a principle judgement against MAXenergy for contract-violating. The judgement is not legally binding. MAXenergy has announced an appeal.
