82 hours benefit festival and marathon tennis from 11 to 14 August 2022 in Langenwang
Langenwang (OTS) – On August 11 at 7:00 am, a perhaps historic match will start at the Schwöbing Tennis Club. Then Friedrich Nowak and Karl Straßberger will serve for the first set of a tennis match and world record attempt, which is to last 82 hours. The previous record is to fall on August 14 at 2:09 p.m.; the target match duration is reached at 5:00 p.m. A benefit event accompanies the action, in cooperation with the Styrian Tennis Association.
The drive of the two friends, great cousins and business partners:
Inclusion and strengthening youth development in popular sports. “We believe in the value of sport for everyone, especially in troubled times,” emphasizes Nowak. Straßberger adds, “Financially and health-wise, we are doing well. We want to give something back from that, sooner rather than later.” The most important fundraising goal – the financing of a pool lift as an entry-level aid – was achieved in advance.
