FPÖ – Kassegger: “Coffee meetings” do not solve energy crisis – Black-Green makes energy a luxury good

Kassegger calls for immediate measures and long-term solution to energy crisis

“With today’s so-called energy crisis summit, Nehammer and Co. are once again just stalling for time. But action is finally needed: an immediate halt to sanctions against Russia, a reduction in value-added taxes or a price cap on energy, but also on fuel and food, the suspension of the merit order principle, the payment of the record dividends that the state receives through its stake in energy companies, as a cost-of-living adjustment for the citizens – all of this could have been addressed or should have been implemented by the black-green federal government long ago. Instead Nehammer, Gewessler and CO. make energy a kind of luxury good”, stressed FPÖ energy speaker NAbg. Axel Kassegger.
