Part of the meeting the head of Estonia devoted to Ukrainian e-residents. In spite of the war in Ukraine, they are developing and scaling their business thanks to the opportunities offered by the e-Residence e-citizenship program. The Republic of Estonia reimburses state levs to entrepreneurs from Ukraine who decide to become e-residents.
Estonia was the first country to launch a digital or virtual residency program in 2014. To date, more than 92,000 people have taken advantage of the program.
e-Resident and PRNEWS.IO board member Alexander Storozhuk: “The business opportunities offered by Estonia’s e-Residency program are simply invaluable. This is especially important during the war in Ukraine when Ukrainian companies have to urgently reformat their business processes and support their employees and their families who live on the territory of hostilities”.
