Autocrypt joins MobilityXlab, a mobility technology collaboration center to accelerate global innovation expansion

>

Munich, Germany (ots/PRNewswire) – Leading mobility and V2X security provider Autocrypt has been selected as one of MobilityXlab’s newest startups to work with industry accelerators to develop mobility solutions and enable projects between partner companies. Led by industry giants CEVT, Ericsson, Polestar, Veoneer, Volvo Cars, Volvo Group and Zenseact, MobilityXlab fosters partnerships between startups in the industry and aims to bring the mobility of the future closer together. Autocrypt will participate in MobilityXlab for at least six months to jointly develop solutions for the rapidly changing mobility landscape.

As one of the few mobility security vendors in MobilityXlab, the company looks forward to integrating PKI into real-world use cases, turning proof-of-concept into reality when it comes to secure vehicle environments. Autocrypt’s three-standard compliant Secure Credential Management System for V2X provides a vulnerability-free environment and prevents unwanted disruptions to connected and autonomous driving.

“We are very pleased to have been invited and selected as one of eleven startups among 108 applicants this year. We expect this collaboration to drive strategic partnerships here in Europe and give us the opportunity to directly collaborate and discuss how we can improve emerging technologies in mobility and connectivity,” said Daniel ES Kim, CEO of Autocrypt Technologies GmbH. “Autocrypt also plans to drive cybersecurity testing and technology development to take the initiative in Europe and globally.”

In addition to secure V2X solutions, Autocrypt’s latest offering, EVIQ, focuses on secure V2G communications. The suite of offerings aims to provide a seamless charging experience for all users, including Plug&Charge with an ISO-15118 compliant communication interface and a customized charging station management system. The company showcased EVIQ at the 35th Electric Vehicle Symposium, EVS35, where it also presented its framework for security testing in charging environments.
